Erika Van Mater. Artist and Missionary.

Art of Missions was born out of a love for two things: traveling and creating. As a young girl of 12, Erika went on her first mission trip to Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA. From that year forward, she has been on at least one mission trip per year, sometimes reaching as many as 4 in one year. Her trips include places around the United States, Haiti, and Northern Ireland. 

Upon reaching college, Erika decided she wanted a better way to raise funds instead of constantly asking for donations. She began painting for Christmas gifts for students on campus. From there, Art of Missions grew into this flourishing business with multiple yearly events and online sales. 

All proceeds from the sale of paintings support her local and international mission trips.
